This proposal for the Italian Pavillion at the EXPO 2015 is a direct response to the recent shifting in the principles of architecture, which is gradually losing its foundations in favor of a more transient digital expression. The symbols that the building revolves around are of a classical, vitruvian nature (the column and the dome). This project strives to create an iconic image that resonates with the same principles of classical architecture, albeit with a contemporary identity.
